PRC/PPG PR-1422-B1/2 AMS-S-8802-B1/2 Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PR-1422 Class B Aircraft Integral Fuel Tank Sealant provides reliable sealing for aircraft fuel tanks and fuselage applications. With a service range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C), this sealant ensures stability and durability in diverse operating conditions. Designed specifically for fillet sealing, it offers excellent elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.

Formulated as a two-part, dichromate cured polysulfide compound, PR-1422 Class B Sealant offers easy application and superior performance. Its low sag, thixotropic paste consistency makes it suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. Upon curing at room temperature, it forms a resilient sealant with outstanding adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
