Flamemaster CS3100 Electrical Insulator Sealant Liquid, Brown/White (Part B/A) - Reliable Electrical Insulation and Sealing for Aviation
NSN: 8030-00-616-7696
CS 3100 sealant was designed for potting and sealing electrical connectors and components for protection from moisture, fuels, dirt, and other contaminants. CS 3100 is pourable and self-leveling, allowing a complete seal around wires, terminals, and irregular configurations to allow good electrical insulation. Used within its operating temperature range, cured CS3100 acts as a deterrent to fatigue, corrosion, and contamination, and aids in reducing arc-over between pins of an electric connector.
Key Features for Aviation:
- Provides excellent electrical insulation for critical aircraft wiring and connections.
- Offers reliable sealing against moisture, dust, and other environmental contaminants.
- Provides vibration dampening, protecting sensitive electrical components.
- Two-part system (Brown/White Part B/A) ensures proper mixing and curing.
- Room temperature cure simplifies application and eliminates the need for specialized equipment.
- Remains flexible after curing, accommodating movement and preventing cracking.
- Helps prevent corrosion and electrical failures in aircraft systems.
