Non-chromated surface adhesion promoters and micro-etching solutions engineered to actively remove existing corrosion and condition aluminum surfaces prior to conversion coating, painting, anodizing, or welding. The multi-metal prep formulations comply with Boeing BSS 7432 (formerly D6-17487), Douglas CSD #1, ASTM D3359, ASTM F1111, ASTM F484, ASTM F502, ASTM F519, ASTM F485, and ASTM F483 criteria. For acid etching without hydrofluoric acid, the engineering process fully conforms to the SAE AMS 1640C (Supersedes MIL-C-38334) aerospace surface corrosion standard.
