3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1300L Rubber & Gasket Adhesive Yellow is a low-viscosity, fast-drying neoprene-based contact adhesive specifically formulated for aerospace, defense, and industrial maintenance operations. Engineered to meet strict military and commercial aircraft specifications, EC-1300L bonds rubber, neoprene, nitrile, EPDM, leather, metal, wood, and honeycomb materials rapidly upon contact. Its sprayable, low-viscosity consistency allows smooth, uniform coating over large surface areas, while its thermal resistance delivers exceptional tack and bond strength across extreme temperature swings (-30°F to 300°F). Ideal for airframe weather stripping, door seals, soundproofing insulation, and gasket bonding, EC-1300L ensures long-term resistance to water, synthetic lubricants, and environmental aging.

- Flexible Elastomeric Bond Line: Absorbs mechanical vibration, thermal expansion, and structural flexing without cracking or delaminating.
Typical Applications
- Aircraft Seal & Gasket Installation: Primary adhesive for securing rubber door weather stripping, window seals, access panel gaskets, and nacelle seals.
- Soundproofing & Insulation Bonding: Secures thermal acoustic blankets, fiberglass insulation, and floor panel dampening pads to aircraft fuselage skins.
- General Industrial & MRO Assembly: Bonds neoprene, rubber sheeting, leather, canvas, and sheet metal in maintenance facilities and flight-line repairs.
