Armite Lubricants MIL907 Military Grade High Temp Anti-Seize MIL-PRF-907F
Armite Lubricants MIL907 is a high-performance, military-grade anti-seize compound formulated to meet the stringent requirements of MIL-PRF-907F. This product provides exceptional protection against seizing, galling, and corrosion in extreme high-temperature environments, ensuring reliable performance and extended component life.
Key Features and Benefits
- Anti-Corrosion Quality: MIL907 not only has a high corrosion resistance but also prevents oxidation and corrosion in the materials to which it is applied. This quality makes it a standard for all-around use in chemical plants and refineries.
- Anti-Seize and High-Temperature Qualities: The compound remains an effective anti-seize compound, even to the fusing or melting point of the surrounding metals. The hydrocarbon vehicle melts away between 600°F to 700°F leaving only the pure lead, which becomes liquid at about the same temperature. On cooling, the lead solidifies as a fine metallic ash and still retains its lubricating and sealing qualities. Recommended uses include steam and gas turbines, refinery units, boilers, railroads and aircraft.
- Low-Temperature Use: The compound forms an effective seal for equipment handling liquid nitrogen at -350°F. It is recommended for pipe sealing applications at temperatures of -100°F.
- High-Pressure Applications: Increasing pressure causes lead particles to pack more closely, strengthening the seal. MIL907 has tested up to 100,000 PSI hydraulic fluid lines.
- Anti-Seize (Metal to Metal): MIL907 prevents a corrosion weld between metal-to-metal surfaces. This feature is important from the standpoint of maintenance of heavy industrial equipment.
- Anti-Galling or Anti-Freezing: The compound forms a thin, pure-lead coat on metal while filling all voids and smoothing the surface. Friction is greatly reduced and less torque is needed for assembly and disassembly. Because the joined metals are isolated from moisture and oxygen, deterioration by galvanic action is impossible. In the same manner, hydrogen embrittlement is prevented.
MIL907 is particularly useful for materials that gall easily, such as aluminum and stainless steel.
- Lubricating Qualities: MIL907 is valuable as a lubricant in many tapping, machining, and metal-forming jobs. It is not recommended as a bearing lubricant except for very loose journal bearings, as MIL907’s plating action will freeze close-tolerance bearings.
This specification covers anti-seize compounds for use on threads of steel nuts, studs, bolts, and other mating surfaces, including superheated steam installations, at temperatures up to 1050F.

2. Inventory Management (FIFO)
All products with an expiration date are managed and shipped on a strict "First In – First Out" (FIFO) basis.
3. Minimum Shipping Margin
Standard Guarantee: We will not ship any products with fewer than 30 days of use remaining (days before expiration), unless previously coordinated and agreed upon with the customer.
No Automatic Guarantees: Outside of this 30-day minimum margin, Aircraft Shop Supply does not make any automatic guarantee as to the specific length of time remaining on any shelf-life item for standard orders.
4. Special Customer Requirements
We understand that certain projects, maintenance schedules, or regulatory standards require strict specifications. If your order has specific shelf-life requirements, please proceed as follows:
How to Request: If you require a specific Date of Manufacture (DOM), Date of Expiration (DOE), or a specific minimum shelf-life percentage (%), you must clearly state this requirement:
In the Comments/Notes section when placing an online order.
Explicitly written on your Purchase Order (PO) or quote request email for offline orders.
Validation Process: Once your requirement is received:
We will ship your order if the available stock matches your specifications.
If we do not have the exact batch, we will contact you prior to shipping with the shelf-life percentage (%) or dates we have available for your acceptance.
5. Limitation of Liability and Validity of Information
To ensure transparency and manage expectations, the following terms and conditions apply:
Time-Limited Validity: Any information provided by our team regarding the remaining shelf-life percentage (%) is valid only at the exact time the inquiry is made. Due to high inventory turnover, availability is subject to change without prior notice.
Informational Purposes Only: Shelf-life data provided by Aircraft Shop Supply is strictly for informational purposes and reflects the availability at the moment of inquiry. It does not constitute a batch reservation or a product warranty.
