Henkel Loctite® Hysol® EA 9309.3NA (Cross-referenced under Kit Part Numbers A-6741-20 and DHS171-200.40) is a premium, toughened, two-part structural epoxy paste adhesive engineered by Henkel for demanding aerospace, defense, and high-performance composite bonding applications. Formulated with glass micro-beads for precise bond line thickness control, EA 9309.3NA delivers exceptional peel strength and high lap shear performance across metal and composite substrates. Curing at room temperature (or under accelerated mild heat), this non-sag structural paste exhibits high resistance to thermal shock, high-vibration exposure, aerospace fuels, and hydraulic fluids, making it an industry standard for structural airframe bonding, patch repairs, and core stabilization.

Approved Specifications & Aviation Conformance:
Loctite Hysol EA 9309.3NA meets stringent commercial, defense, and aerospace OEM specification baselines:
- Aerospace Structural Qualification: Approved across Boeing (BMS 5-110), Lockheed Martin, and major defense contractor baselines for structural bonding and skin repair.
- High Peel & Impact Resistance: Toughened formulation resists cleavage, peel forces, and severe structural vibration under dynamic flight loads.
- Aviation Fluid Immunity: Highly resistant to degradation from exposure to jet fuels (Jet-A/JP-8), Skydrol hydraulic fluids, engine oils, and deicing solvents post-cure.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Superior Peel & Shear Strength: Delivers high-strength elastomeric toughness designed to prevent joint cleavage on flexible or dissimilar substrates.
- Integrated Glass Spacer Beads: Formulated with micro-beads to ensure uniform bond line thickness and prevent over-clamping squeeze-out during assembly.
- Thixotropic Non-Sag Consistency: Maintains bead stability on vertical and overhead surfaces, filling large voids and uneven gaps without slumping.
- Room Temperature Ambient Cure: Achieves structural bonds without requiring high-temperature autoclave processing, simplifying field MRO repairs.
- Exceptional Substrate Adhesion: Bonds tenaciously to alodined aluminum, titanium, composite laminates (CFRP/GRP), and honeycomb sandwich panels.
Typical Applications
- Aerospace Metal & Composite Bonding: Used for primary and secondary structural bonding of aluminum, titanium, and composite structures.
- Airframe Patch Repair & Reinforcement: Ideal for MRO structural doubler bonding, skin repairs, and fairing attachment.
- Honeycomb Panel Repair & Potting: Applied for insert potting, edge sealing, and core splicing in aircraft interior and flight deck panels.
