Flamemaster CS-5306 B-1/2 Gray Polythioether Fast Cure Sealant - Rapid Repair Fuel Sealant for Aviation (Meets AMS 3277H Type I, Grade 1 / Formerly MIL-S-29574 Type I)
Ensure swift and reliable repairs to aircraft fuel systems with Flamemaster CS-5306 B-1/2 Gray Fast Cure Sealant. This high-performance, two-part polythioether sealant is specifically engineered for rapid sealing of integral fuel tanks and other critical areas. Its advanced formulation provides exceptional resistance to aviation fuels, lubricants, and the harsh environmental conditions encountered by aircraft. Meeting the stringent requirements of AMS 3277H Type I, Grade 1 (and notably, formerly MIL-S-29574 Type I), it offers superior adhesion to aluminum, magnesium, and titanium, along with excellent flexibility and durability. The "B-1/2" designation signifies its 30-minute application life, making it ideal for time-sensitive flight line repairs. This gray, thixotropic sealant cures to a flexible, resilient rubber, providing a robust and long-lasting seal, even on vertical and overhead surfaces.
Key Features for Aviation:
- Specifically designed for fast-cure and rapid repair of aircraft fuel tanks and components.
- Meets the requirements of Aerospace Material Specification AMS 3277H Type I, Grade 1, a critical industry standard for advanced fuel tank sealants.
