D-Zolve™ 15-33R is an advanced, environmentally engineered aircraft depainter and paint stripper manufactured by Solvent Enterprises (D-Zolve). Formulated as a safer, non-hazardous alternative to traditional methylene chloride, phenol, and chromate-based strippers, D-Zolve 15-33R efficiently breaks down and removes tough aerospace coatings. It penetrates and lifts tough polyurethane, epoxy primers, polysulfide sealants, and alkyd topcoats from airframe structures. Engineered with a thixotropic cling-paste consistency, D-Zolve 15-33R adheres to vertical, inclined, and overhead aircraft surfaces, providing extended dwell time to lift multiple coating layers in a single application without drying out prematurely.

Approved Specifications & Aerospace Conformance:
D-Zolve 15-33R meets strict commercial and defense aerospace corrosion and material compatibility standards:
- Boeing Conformance: Evaluated and tested in accordance with Boeing D6-17487 specifications for aircraft paint strippers.
- MIL-SPEC Equivalency: Conforms to the material compatibility parameters of MIL-PRF-83936 (Stripper, Paint, Soft Action).
- Substrate & Structural Safety: Tested safe for high-strength aircraft aluminum alloys, titanium, magnesium, stainless steel, and composite structures without causing hydrogen embrittlement or surface corrosion.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Methylene Chloride & Phenol Free: Formulated without toxic, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or dangerous chemicals, improving worker safety and lowering environmental disposal costs.
- Thixotropic Cling Capability: High-viscosity paste clings to vertical and inverted airframe sections without sagging, ensuring maximum chemical contact time.
- Multi-Layer Paint Lifting: Softens and wrinkles polyurethane topcoats, tough epoxy primers, and underlying sealants simultaneously for easy mechanical scraping or high-pressure water rinsing.
- Non-Flammable & Low Volatility: High flash point profile reduces fire hazards in aviation overhaul hangars and minimizes VOC evaporation during application.
- Non-Corrosive to Airframe Alloys: Engineered to preserve delicate aircraft skin metals, anodized aluminum layers, clad finishes, and composite structural panels.
Typical Applications
- Full Aircraft Depainting & Refinishing: Used in major MRO facilities for stripping commercial, military, and general aviation airframe skins prior to structural inspection and repainting.
- Localized Paint & Sealant Touch-Up: Ideal for selective removal of polyurethane coatings, epoxy primers, and fillet sealants around rivets, lap joints, and panel edges.
- Aviation Component Overhaul: Extensively used to strip coatings from removed landing gear housings, engine nacelles, control surfaces, and helicopter rotor blades.

2. Inventory Management (FIFO)
All products with an expiration date are managed and shipped on a strict "First In – First Out" (FIFO) basis.
3. Minimum Shipping Margin
Standard Guarantee: We will not ship any products with fewer than 30 days of use remaining (days before expiration), unless previously coordinated and agreed upon with the customer.
No Automatic Guarantees: Outside of this 30-day minimum margin, Aircraft Shop Supply does not make any automatic guarantee as to the specific length of time remaining on any shelf-life item for standard orders.
4. Special Customer Requirements
We understand that certain projects, maintenance schedules, or regulatory standards require strict specifications. If your order has specific shelf-life requirements, please proceed as follows:
How to Request: If you require a specific Date of Manufacture (DOM), Date of Expiration (DOE), or a specific minimum shelf-life percentage (%), you must clearly state this requirement:
In the Comments/Notes section when placing an online order.
Explicitly written on your Purchase Order (PO) or quote request email for offline orders.

It is the customer's responsibility to account for these logistical lead times within their planning.
