NSN: 8030-00-723-5343
Optimize your aircraft manufacturing and repair timelines with Flamemaster CS-3204 A2 Integral Fuel Tank Sealant. This premium, two-part polysulfide sealant is specifically engineered for sealing integral fuel tanks and other critical areas demanding exceptional resistance to aviation fuels, lubricants, and challenging environmental conditions. Meeting the rigorous requirements of both AMS-S-8802A2 and MIL-S-8802F, it delivers superior adhesion, flexibility, and durability with an accelerated cure rate compared to standard versions. This faster curing characteristic significantly reduces processing time, enhancing efficiency in aircraft assembly and maintenance. The "A2" designation typically indicates its application viscosity or flow characteristics combined with its notably faster curing properties.
Key Features for Aviation:
- Specifically designed and qualified for sealing integral fuel tanks in aircraft with a significantly accelerated cure rate.
- Meets the requirements of Aerospace Material Specification AMS-S-8802A2, a key industry standard emphasizing faster curing for fuel tank sealants.
- Also meets the requirements of U.S. Military Specification MIL-S-8802F, ensuring military-grade performance and reliability.
- Provides exceptional resistance to aviation fuels (Jet A, JP-8, Avgas), lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and other chemicals prevalent in aircraft environments.
- Offers superior adhesion to aircraft aluminum and other common substrates.
- Maintains flexibility across a broad temperature range, ensuring a reliable seal under diverse operating conditions.
- Two-part system allows for precise mixing and application.
- Significantly faster cure time dramatically reduces manufacturing and repair cycle times.
- Critical for preventing fuel leaks and maintaining the structural integrity of fuel tanks with enhanced efficiency.
Typical Aviation Applications:
- Sealing integral fuel tanks in wings and fuselage where the fastest possible cure is required.
- Sealing fuel bladders and fuel cells demanding rapid turnaround.
- Sealing access panels and fittings in fuel systems when time is of the essence.
- Sealing other areas requiring resistance to aviation fuels and lubricants with the most expedited curing process.
- Essential for efficient manufacturing, rapid repair, and maintenance of commercial and military aircraft.
