Loctite® Hysol® EA 9313 (formerly Hysol EA 9313) is a two-part, low-viscosity room-temperature curing liquid epoxy adhesive kit engineered by Henkel for high-reliability aerospace, defense, and composite assembly applications. Formulated to provide exceptional capillary wicking and self-leveling capabilities, EA 9313 is ideal for potting, structural wire/component staking, honeycomb edge sealing, and composite laminate repair. It cures at ambient temperatures to deliver high tensile, shear, and peel strength across a wide range of operational temperatures. Its excellent wetting properties ensure thorough encapsulation without air entrapment, making it a critical material for high-stress structural bonding and electronic potting operations.

Approved Specifications & Industrial Conformance:
Loctite Hysol EA 9313 is widely specified across military and commercial aerospace manufacturing specifications:
- Commercial Aerospace Specifications: Fully conforms to multiple OEM structural adhesive and potting specifications for civil and military airframes.
- Substrate Neutrality & Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to aerospace fluids including jet fuel, hydraulic fluids (Skydrol), and lubrication oils post-cure.
- Quality Management Baseline: Manufactured under strict aerospace quality controls at Henkel ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified production facilities.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Ultra-Low Viscosity Wicking: Flowable consistency allows rapid penetration into tight honeycomb cores, micro-cracks, and dense wire bundle arrays.
- High Tensile & Shear Strength: Provides robust mechanical load transfer and structural integrity across bonded metal, glass, and composite joints.
- Flexible Cure Options: Cures reliably at ambient shop temperatures or rapidly accelerates under elevated thermal curing schedules.
- Low Exotherm Profile: Controlled chemical reaction during curing prevents thermal degradation or distortion of delicate electronic components and thin-gauge substrates.
- Versatile Substrate Adhesion: Bonds tenaciously to aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, polycarbonate, glass, and carbon-fiber reinforced composites.
Typical Applications
- Honeycomb Core Potting & Edge Sealing: Extensively utilized for filling and potting honeycomb composite structures in aircraft interior panels and flight surfaces.
- Structural Composite Repair: Ideal for resin injection and void filling during composite laminate delamination repairs.
- Electronic Component Staking & Encapsulation: Used to pot and stake delicate electrical components, connectors, and sensors exposed to high-vibration airborne environments.

2. Inventory Management (FIFO)
All products with an expiration date are managed and shipped on a strict "First In – First Out" (FIFO) basis.
3. Minimum Shipping Margin
Standard Guarantee: We will not ship any products with fewer than 30 days of use remaining (days before expiration), unless previously coordinated and agreed upon with the customer.
No Automatic Guarantees: Outside of this 30-day minimum margin, Aircraft Shop Supply does not make any automatic guarantee as to the specific length of time remaining on any shelf-life item for standard orders.
4. Special Customer Requirements
We understand that certain projects, maintenance schedules, or regulatory standards require strict specifications. If your order has specific shelf-life requirements, please proceed as follows:
How to Request: If you require a specific Date of Manufacture (DOM), Date of Expiration (DOE), or a specific minimum shelf-life percentage (%), you must clearly state this requirement:
In the Comments/Notes section when placing an online order.
Explicitly written on your Purchase Order (PO) or quote request email for offline orders.
