Description
Holt International - EZ59183 - EZ Grip Aircraft Friction Drops Lubricant - 3oz
EZ Grip Aircraft Grade Friction Drops (Part # EZ59183) is a revolutionary "liquid tool" designed to assist in the removal of stripped, damaged, or seized fasteners. Unlike traditional lubricants that reduce friction, EZ Grip contains thousands of microscopic, hardened alumina cubes suspended in a non-toxic carrier. When applied, these particles create an instant, high-friction bridge between the tool and the fastener, increasing torque and preventing "cam-out."
Key Benefits
- Instant Grip: Increases the gripping power between the tool and the fastener head by up to 800%.
- Prevents Damage: Reduces the risk of further stripping fastener heads or damaging expensive tools during high-torque operations.
- Clean & Safe: Contains no silicones or petroleum, making it safe for use on aircraft surfaces without interfering with subsequent painting or sealing processes.
- Non-Corrosive: Formulated to be completely non-reactive; it will not cause corrosion on aluminum, magnesium, or stainless steel.
- AOG/MRO Essential: Drastically reduces maintenance downtime by making the removal of "impossible" screws fast and simple.
Applications
- Aircraft Maintenance: Ideal for panel screws, engine bay fasteners, and airframe hardware.
- Damaged Fasteners: Specifically effective for stripped Phillips heads, rounded Allen bolts, and rusted nuts.
- Tool Maintenance: Can be applied to the jaws of pliers or wrenches to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.
- Military & Commercial MRO: Heavily used in professional aviation maintenance-restoration-overhaul (MRO) centers worldwide.
