The Honeywell North® 7583P100L is a high-performance, low-profile organic vapor and acid gas (OV/AG) chemical cartridge with an integrated P100 particulate filter. Engineered for demanding aerospace MRO, industrial painting, chemical processing, and metal fabrication applications, the 7583P100L delivers dual protection against volatile solvents, acid vapors, and toxic particulates in a single combination element. Featuring dual N-Series threaded connectors, it utilizes high-capacity activated carbon beds combined with a non-fiberglass P100 filter layer that captures 99.97% of all airborne particulates, including oil-based and non-oil-based aerosols, paint mists, and hazardous dusts.

Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Dual Organic Vapor & Acid Gas Defense: Absorbs volatile solvent fumes and corrosive acid gases simultaneously, streamlining chemical cartridge selection.
- 99.97% P100 Filtration Efficiency: Integrated high-efficiency filter traps fine airborne aerosols, welding smoke, composite dust, and liquid paint mists.
- Low-Profile Swept-Back Ergonomics: Swept-back profile positions weight close to the face seal, reducing neck fatigue and ensuring an unobstructed field of view.
- Direct Thread-On Connection: Screws directly into N-Series ports to prevent accidental loosening or seal bypass during heavy physical tasks.
- Encapsulated Filter Housing: Durable outer cover shields inner carbon and filter layers from liquid splash, sparks, and physical abrasion.
Typical Applications
- Aerospace Spray Painting & Coating: Protects painters from organic solvent vapors, acid etching primers, and liquid topcoat overspray.
- Chemical Handling & Surface Preparation: Ideal for chemical wiping, solvent degreasing, and acid wash operations during airframe component overhaul.
- Composite Fabrication & Welding Repair: Provides combination defense against resin vapors, acid fumes, and toxic metal particulates during MRO operations.
