Henkel Loctite® Hysol® EA 9203 (Kit Item PR9014018) is a premium, two-part structural epoxy adhesive paste engineered by Henkel for high-reliability aerospace, defense, and specialized composite repair operations. Distinctively pigmented blue for immediate visual mix-verification and bond line inspection, EA 9203 cures at ambient room temperatures to form a durable, impact-resistant structural bond. Formulated with a thixotropic non-sag consistency, this high-performance epoxy delivers superior shear strength, excellent gap-filling capability, and long-term resistance to thermal cycling, moisture, and common aviation fluids across aluminum, titanium, and composite material assemblies.

Approved Specifications & Aviation Conformance:
Loctite Hysol EA 9203 is qualified against rigorous commercial and military aerospace repair baselines:
- Aerospace OEM & MRO Acceptances: Approved across major airframe maintenance manuals for structural bonding, core repair, and composite patching.
- High Fatigue & Impact Resistance: Formulated to absorb structural flex, dynamic vibration, and shock loading without bond line cleavage.
- Aviation Fluid Immunity: Highly resistant to degradation from jet fuels (Jet-A/JP-8), Skydrol hydraulic fluids, synthetic lubricating oils, and deicing solvents post-cure.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Visual Inspection Blue Pigmentation: High-contrast blue color ensures rapid verification of thorough Part A / Part B mixing and precise bond line edge inspection.
- Ambient Room-Temperature Cure: Achieves full structural strength at standard shop temperatures, eliminating the need for specialized autoclave equipment.
- Thixotropic Non-Sag Consistency: Maintains bead geometry and void-filling stability on vertical and overhead surfaces without slumping or running.
- High Substrate Compatibility: Bonds tenaciously to aluminum alloys, titanium, composite laminates (CFRP/GRP), stainless steel, and honeycomb cores.
- Robust Environmental Defense: Protects bonded joints against moisture ingress, salt spray corrosion, and severe operational thermal shock.
Typical Applications
- Aerospace Composite & Metal Repair: Used in MRO facilities for structural patch repairs, surface bonding, and reinforcement of metallic and composite airframe parts.
- Honeycomb Panel Repair & Potting: Ideal for edge sealing, insert potting, and core stabilization in aircraft interior and secondary structural panels.
- Precision Industrial Assembly: Applied as a gap-filling structural paste for high-vibration machinery housings, bracket mounting, and hardware attachment.

All Sales Channels: This policy applies to all orders processed by Aircraft Shop Supply, including but not limited to: website purchases, direct email orders, formal Purchase Orders (POs), phone orders, and contract agreements.
2. Inventory Management (FIFO)
All products with an expiration date are managed and shipped on a strict "First In – First Out" (FIFO) basis.
3. Minimum Shipping Margin
Standard Guarantee: We will not ship any products with fewer than 30 days of use remaining (days before expiration), unless previously coordinated and agreed upon with the customer.
No Automatic Guarantees: Outside of this 30-day minimum margin, Aircraft Shop Supply does not make any automatic guarantee as to the specific length of time remaining on any shelf-life item for standard orders.
4. Special Customer Requirements
We understand that certain projects, maintenance schedules, or regulatory standards require strict specifications. If your order has specific shelf-life requirements, please proceed as follows:
How to Request: If you require a specific Date of Manufacture (DOM), Date of Expiration (DOE), or a specific minimum shelf-life percentage (%), you must clearly state this requirement:
In the Comments/Notes section when placing an online order.
Explicitly written on your Purchase Order (PO) or quote request email for offline orders.
