RADCOLUBE 500M is a military-grade, synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) dielectric heat transfer fluid manufactured in strict accordance with specification MIL-PRF-87252G (superseding MIL-C-87252). Engineered specifically for liquid cooling systems in advanced military aircraft, missile guidance assemblies, airborne radar, and high-density avionics, Radcolube 500M provides superior heat transfer capabilities combined with exceptional dielectric insulating properties. Formulated to be hydrolytically stable and chemically inert, this non-aqueous PAO coolant prevents electrical arcing and dielectric breakdown while protecting high-power transmitters, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars, and electronic warfare (EW) suites across extreme environmental temperature swings (-54°C to 135°C+).

- Appearance: Clear, water-white fluid free of sediment and suspended matter
- Material Compatibility: Compatible with aerospace aluminum cold plates, copper alloys, stainless steel lines, fluorosilicone, and Viton (FKM) elastomeric seals
Approved Specifications & Military Conformance:
Radcolube 500M holds official Quality Products List (QPL) status under defense and NATO military standards:
- MIL-PRF-87252G QPL Certified: Qualified under military performance standards for synthetic hydrocarbon dielectric coolant fluids.
- NATO S-1748 Specification: Standardized across allied forces as an approved airborne dielectric coolant for high-density avionics loops.
- Ultra-Clean Particulate Quality: Packaged under cleanroom conditions to satisfy rigid particle count limits for micro-channel cold plate and servovalve protection.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- MIL-PRF-87252G Compliance: Fully certified PAO coolant designed to meet the exact thermophysical and electrical requirements of military airframe OEMs.
- High Dielectric Breakdown Voltage: Safely isolates high-voltage avionics and radar transmitters, preventing short-circuiting, electrical arcing, and stray current leakage.
- Hydrolytic & Chemical Purity: Formulated without free water or reactive halogens to prevent chemical attack, pitting, and corrosion on electronic substrates.
- Sub-Zero Fluidity & Rapid Heat Dissipation: Maintains low fluid viscosity at -54°C, ensuring immediate thermal protection for active radar modules upon system power-up.
Typical Applications
- Airborne AESA Radar Systems: Primary dielectric coolant for Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar antennas, pods, and transmitters on fighter aircraft.
- Avionics & Directed Energy Cooling: Circulates through liquid cold plates in high-density computing racks, EW (Electronic Warfare) suites, and laser systems.
- Missile Guidance & Naval Electronics: Used in shipboard radar installations, missile launcher guidance cooling loops, and military ground-based tracking stations.

At Aircraft Shop Supply, we are committed to shipping the highest quality and freshest product possible. To ensure efficient stock rotation and meet aviation industry standards, our inventory management is governed by the following policy:
1. Scope of Application
All Sales Channels: This policy applies to all orders processed by Aircraft Shop Supply, including but not limited to: website purchases, direct email orders, formal Purchase Orders (POs), phone orders, and contract agreements.
2. Inventory Management (FIFO)
All products with an expiration date are managed and shipped on a strict "First In – First Out" (FIFO) basis.
3. Minimum Shipping Margin
Standard Guarantee: We will not ship any products with fewer than 30 days of use remaining (days before expiration), unless previously coordinated and agreed upon with the customer.
No Automatic Guarantees: Outside of this 30-day minimum margin, Aircraft Shop Supply does not make any automatic guarantee as to the specific length of time remaining on any shelf-life item for standard orders.
4. Special Customer Requirements
We understand that certain projects, maintenance schedules, or regulatory standards require strict specifications. If your order has specific shelf-life requirements, please proceed as follows:
How to Request: If you require a specific Date of Manufacture (DOM), Date of Expiration (DOE), or a specific minimum shelf-life percentage (%), you must clearly state this requirement:
In the Comments/Notes section when placing an online order.
Explicitly written on your Purchase Order (PO) or quote request email for offline orders.
