Description
RADCOLUBE 6081 Lubricating Oil, Jet Engine - MIL-PRF-6081E Grade 1010
RADCOLUBE 6081 Grade 1010 is a specialized, petroleum-based jet engine lubricating oil designed for use in specific military and vintage turbine engines. Formulated to meet the rigorous MIL-PRF-6081E specification, this light-viscosity oil excels in low-temperature environments, providing excellent fluidity and consistent lubrication where standard oils might fail.
Key Benefits
-
Low-Temperature Fluidity: Specifically engineered for superior performance in cold-weather startups and high-altitude operations.
-
Oxidation Resistance: High-quality base stocks reduce the formation of sludge and varnish, keeping engine components clean.
-
Proven Reliability: Trusted for decades in military applications for its consistent thermal stability.
- Optimized Viscosity: Maintains a precise film thickness to protect bearings and moving parts under high-speed turbine conditions.
Applications
-
Jet Engines: Primary lubrication for older gas turbine engines requiring Grade 1010 mineral oil.
-
Support Equipment: Used in various ground support systems and air compressors requiring low-viscosity lubricating oil.
-
Instrument & Airframe: Suitable for specific airframe components that mandate MIL-PRF-6081E specifications.
- Preservation: Can be used as a flushing or preservative fluid for fuel systems and engine components during short-term storage.
