RADCOLUBE 6085 is a high-precision synthetic diester-based instrument lubricating oil manufactured in strict accordance with military specification MIL-PRF-6085F and NATO code O-147. Formulated specifically for delicate aircraft instruments, electronic equipment, precision bearings, and low-torque mechanical assemblies, Radcolube 6085 combines low volatility with exceptional oxidation stability across extreme operating temperatures (-54°C to 150°C). Fortified with advanced rust inhibitors and anti-wear additives, this ultra-refined synthetic oil minimizes evaporation loss, prevents gumming or varnish deposits, and ensures smooth, low-friction operation in critical flight deck gyroscopes, clock mechanisms, and micro-actuators.

Approved Specifications & Military Conformance:
Radcolube 6085 holds official Quality Products List (QPL) status under defense and NATO military standards:
- MIL-PRF-6085F QPL Certified: Qualified under military protocols for aircraft instrument and precision gear lubrication.
- NATO O-147 Specification: Approved across NATO defense forces as a standardized synthetic low-volatility instrument oil.
- Corrosion & Rust Prevention: Passes rigorous military copper strip and steel corrosion tests to safeguard delicate alloy pivots and jewel bearings.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
- Low Volatility & Evaporation Resistance: Synthetic diester base prevents oil drying out during prolonged high-altitude or high-temperature exposure.
- Ultra-Low Sub-Zero Torque: Maintains fluid mobility at -54°C, preventing frictional drag in low-power micro-motors and mechanical gyros.
- Oxidation & Sludge Stability: Resists resin formation, lacquering, and thickening to maintain constant viscosity over extended service intervals.
- Superior Corrosion Inhibition: Protects ferrous and non-ferrous precision components from moisture and atmospheric degradation.
Typical Applications
- Aircraft Flight Instruments: Primary lubricant for flight deck gyroscopes, altimeters, airspeed indicators, and mechanical flight clocks.
- Precision Bearings & Micro-Motors: Lubricates miniature ball bearings, potentiometer pivots, synchros, and servomotors in avionics suites.
- Electronics & Optical Assemblies: Ideal for military camera gear, radar drive mechanisms, and delicate defense control linkages.
