Royal Adhesives WS-8020RC B4 Fuel Tank & Fuselage Sealant (AMS-S-8802 / AMS-3276)
WS-8020 RC Class B is a rapid cure two componentpolysulfide sealant designed to meet the requirements ofboth AMS-3276 and AMS-8802 fuel tank specifications. Ithas outstanding adhesion to the common aerospacesubstrates as well as excellent sealing characteristics attemperatures ranging from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F(121°C), including intermittent exposure up to 360°F(182°C).
WS-8020 RC Class B exhibits excellent elastomericproperties and retention after prolonged exposure to jetfuel and aviation gasoline. The uncured product is a lowsag thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusiongun or spatula.

Applications:

Surface Preparation: Clean substrates with appropriate cleaning solutions using a lint-free cloth to remove contaminants like dirt, grease, and processing oils. Apply solvent to the cloth to avoid contaminating the solvent supply. Clean small areas at a time and wipe immediately to prevent redeposition. Repeat the process at least three times, using a fresh cloth each time.

Mixing: Thoroughly mix the two components in the specified ratio (100:12) until achieving a uniform color and consistency.

Application: Apply the mixed sealant using an extrusion gun or spatula, ensuring even coverage on the prepared surfaces.

Curing: Allow the sealant to cure at room temperature. The tack-free time is less than 9 hours, with full cure achieved in under 14 hours.

- Returns must be made within a maximum of 3 business days after receiving the product, with prior authorization from Aircraft Shop Supply (Return Material Authorization). Returns without prior notice or written authorization will not be accepted.
- For products with 3 to 6 months of remaining shelf life, claims must be made within the next 2 business days after receipt.
- Returns are not accepted for products with less than 3 months of remaining shelf life.
- Returns are not accepted for products purchased during a low Shelf Life promotion, items sold with discounts, or special orders that must be placed directly with the factory.
- The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost, except in cases where the return is due to an error on the part of Aircraft Shop Supply.
- Refunds will only be issued after the product has been inspected and no damage is found.
- A 25% Restocking Fee will be charged for returns of products in good condition that are either no longer needed or were ordered incorrectly.
- A 35% Restocking Fee will be charged for returns of products with one year or less of remaining shelf life.
- No Restocking Fee will be charged if Aircraft Shop Supply is responsible for incorrectly shipping a product, or if the order is damaged upon leaving the warehouse.
- Hazardous Materials & Dangerous Goods: These items are sold as final and are not eligible for return approval.
