WS-8033 B-2 is an ultra-lightweight, fast-curing, two-component polysulfide sealant designed for aerospace applications, particularly for sealing integral fuel tanks and fuselages. It offers excellent resistance to jet fuel, aviation gasoline, water, alcohols, synthetic oils, and petroleum-based hydraulic fluids.

Applications:

• Surface Preparation: Clean substrates thoroughly to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and processing oils.

• Mixing: Thoroughly mix the two components in the specified ratio (100:12 by weight) until achieving a uniform color and consistency.

• Application: Apply the mixed sealant using an extrusion gun or spatula, ensuring even coverage on the prepared surfaces.

• Curing: Allow the sealant to cure at room temperature. The tack-free time is less than 6 hours, with full cure achieved in under 12 hours.
